We're Not in Southern California

ThanksGiving and it's time to get some exercise before we devour the Turkey. Beth, Carrie and I went for a hike up Icebox Canyon. It was the first time any of us had been on this trail.

The best part was we had had 2 days of record rain in LV (0.29 inches !) so it was cool, the clouds were down and their were small waterfalls running off the canyon walls.
Starting at 4000ft you only gain 800 ft vert but the trail is all rock hopping and scrambling. It boxes out at the top below a 7000ft peak but the views and the terrain were well worth it.

Nice shots Mr. Choat! When do we get coverage of the Bellagio?
